We are Carbon Visuals Ltd, a joint-venture company registered in the UK and formed by CarbonSense and GovEd Communications with the goal of becoming the world leader in visualising carbon emissions and other greenhouse gases. We will do this by providing fee-funded visualisation services to local and national governments, businesses and other organisations.

Antony Turner leads on strategic development of the project. He is founder and Managing Director of CarbonSense with a focus on making carbon visible. He has a successful track-record of launching innovative and disruptive technologies worldwide.

Adam Nieman is our visuals genius – both a scientist and an artist. He is the Creative Director of GovEd Communications, has a PhD in the visual culture of science and many years experience in science communication and the creative arts.

Ravi Kapur oversees project management and looks after many of our key relationships with policymakers, the education community and others. He is founder and Managing Director of GovEd Communications. He has extensive experience in digital media, education, science communication and public sector innovation.

Peter Martin provides ‘sense checking’ and challenge to the team. He is the Research Director of CarbonSense and has spent fifteen years advising organisations on strategies for sustainability, organisational development and engaging people in culture change.

Garry Hill is the team’s software specialist and has been working on the internet since before Netscape 1. He is a GovEd associate and has his own company: magnetised.info

Fraser Durham looks after our carbon data crunching. Having spent ten years in the investment banking industry he is now a Director of CarbonSense with responsibility for carbon auditing and video communications.

The Carbon Quilt and associated graphic concepts have been devised, researched, developed and funded to-date by CarbonSense and GovEd Communications. All intellectual property relating to the Carbon Quilt concept and associated products and services is owned by Carbon Visuals Ltd.

We also see a need for public education and outreach and we are licensing the use of our IP for those purposes through a not-for-profit entity - the CarbonSense Foundation. We are most grateful to The Tedworth Charitable Trust for funding the development of the prototype web-tool for this purpose.
